Tokenisation for Regulated Markets:

Tokenise cash and assets and integrate with external blockchains through ClearToken's regulated financial market infrastructure

Tokenisation for Markets

CT Register provides the authoritative record of ownership for cash and digital assets, holding an immutable, real-time record of positions, offering:

  • tokenisation and de-tokenisation of fiat and digital assets
  • 24/7 market operation
  • venue-agnostic, non-custodial solution
  • horizontal, neutral market infrastructure

CT Register enables the tokenisation and de-tokenisation of fiat, stablecoins and cryptoassets within ClearToken’s regulated FMI perimeter. Positions are reflected as data tokens, enabling programmable, auditable settlement workflows across CT Pay and CT Settle.

Tokenisation of securities will be added in due course through ClearToken’s Central Securities Depository (CSD), subject to regulatory authorisation. ClearToken CSD Limited is a participant in the Bank of England’s Digital Securities Sandbox.

Key Features

  • Tokenises fiat, stablecoins and securities (subject to regulatory approval)

  • Enables tokenised assets to be reflected on external blockchain networks

  • Seamlessly reflects the golden source of truth from ClearToken cash and digital asset ledgers

Core Principles

CT Register enables tokenisation within ClearToken’s ecosystem, and integration with external blockchains.

CT Settle offers two key principles:

  • External blockchain integration:

Reflect tokenised assets on external blockchain networks.

  • Horizontal, neutral infrastructure:

Platform agnosticism maximises cross-market liquidity and efficiencies.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Authorisation to provide payment services in accordance with the Payment Services Regulations 2017
